           Illinois Wesleyan Titans 17          University of Wisconsin - Whitewater   10 F
Opening game victory for The Titans.  IWU upsets perennial powerhouse UW-Whitewater. Whitewater has won six of the last 10 Division III national titles and been to the playoff quarterfinal round in 11 of the last 12 years. The Warhawks entered the season with a 33-2 non-conference record since 2005 and riding a 13-game winning streak in season openers.

Tied 13-13 Titans fall short to 5th ranked North Central in a great CCIW matchup. Titans stay in top 25 ranks moving down to just number 20 in National rankings.  Titans will welcom North Park University for another night game at Tucci Stadium during Family Weekend for IWU.

First Titan Shut Out since 2011.  Great defensive performance holding to North Park to  100 yards in total offense.  Illinois Wesleyan moves from #20 to #19 in National rankings.            
      Game 5 Result-  Saturday, Sept. 30th, 2017 at 1:00p.m.           McCully Stadium, Wheaton, IL          
           Wheaton College       10      IWU Titans   14   F
Titans upset #4 Wheaton College 14-10.  First victory against Wheaton at Wheaton since 1996.  With 6 seconds left in the game, Brandon Bauer hit Zach Walsh on a 12-yard touchdown pass to cap a 13-play, 86-yard drive.

A 34-point second half helped the No. 11-ranked Illinois Wesleyan football team overcome a small halftime deficit to beat Elmhurst 47-15 at Langhorst Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Head coach Norm Eash won his 200th career game at Illinois Wesleyan as the Titans tied for the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championship with a 31-6 win over Millikin at Tucci Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 11.
